BIOGRAPHY

    VLADIMIR MURAVLEV
born 1974 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). He is a grandson of Ural Tansykbaev, famous Soviet artist (People's Artist of the USSR).

He was trained at the Uzbekistan Academic Ballet School under the tutelage balletmaster Korkmas Sagatov.

Theater Season 1992-1993 V.Muravlev worked in Moscow Theatre «Russian ballet» under direction of Vyacheslav Gordeyev.

1993 - V.Muravlev joined the Moscow Classical Ballet under direction of N.Kasatkina and V.Vasilyov as a principal dancer.

1994 • International Ballet Competition «ARABESQUE» (Perm, Russia) / Bronze Medal (on-stage partnership with Oksana Mironova)    

1997 • International Ballet Competition (Moscow, Russia) / Diploma (on-stage partnership with Natalia Ogneva);

1997 • World Art Festival (Los Angeles,United States ) /Champion of World Art Festival - Grand Prix and Gold Medal (on-stage partnership with Oksana Mironova)- (CHAMPION OF WORLD ART FESTIVAL);

2001 • Bangkok's International Festival of Dance & Music (Bangkok, Thailand) / Special prize of «LONGINES» "Pair of Elegance" (on-stage partnership with Marina Rzhannikova)

MOSCOW CLASSICAL BALLET (literally from russian - The STATE THEATRE OF CLASSICAL BALLET under direction of N.Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasilyov) was founded in 1966 as Choreographic concert ensemble of the USSR "YOUTH BALLET" (the founder and art director was Igor Moiseyev).
1971-78 - the Concert ensemble of the USSR "CLASSICAL BALLET" (up to 1977 art director Yuriy Zhdanov)
1978-86 - Concert ensemble of the USSR "MOSCOW CLASSICAL BALLET"
1986-91 – MOSCOW STATE THEATRE OF BALLET
1992 - modern name referred in english as MOSCOW CLASSICAL BALLET
