BIOGRAPHY

      VLADIMIR   MURAVLEV
born 1974 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). He is a grandson of Ural Tansykbaev, famous Soviet artist (People's Artist of the USSR).

He was trained at the Uzbekistan Academic Ballet School under the tutelage balletmaster Korkmas Sagatov.

Theater Season 1992-1993 V.Muravlev worked in Moscow Theatre «Russian ballet» under direction of Vyacheslav Gordeyev.

1993 - V.Muravlev joined the Moscow Classical Ballet under direction of N.Kasatkina and V.Vasilyov as a principal dancer.

1995 - V.Muravlev participated in the International Dance Gala in Prague (Czechia);

1996 - V.Muravlev participated in Grand Gala by 15-years anniversary of the "BALLET magazine" in Moscow (Russia);

1999 - Gala of the "Irek Mukhamedob & company" in SADLER's WELLS (London, United Kingdom);

He make debut:

1996 - The State Musical Theater K. Stanislavsky and V. Nemirovich-Danchenko (Moscow Stanislavsky Ballet), Count Almaviva in Dmitry Bryantsev's "Bravo!Figaro" (based on Beaumarchais' "Mariage de Figaro" by Gioacchino Rossini);

1996 - by 30-years anniversary of the Moscow Classical Ballet, Mandarin in Kasatkina's & Vasilyov's new production of "The Miraculous Mandarin" (by Bela Bartok).

1997 - The State Academic Alisher Navoi Opera & Ballet Theatre (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), by 50-years anniversary of the Uzbek Academic Ballet School, Albrecht in "Giselle" (by Adolphe Adam)

1998 - The "Irek Mukhamedob & company", Grand Gala in Beirut (Lebanon);

1998 - The English National Ballet (London,United Kingdom), Prince in Derek Deane's "The Nutcracker"; Prince and Princes Friend in Michael Corder's "Cinderella" (on-stage partnership with Tamara Rojo);

>2002 - The Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera (Warsaw, Poland), Prince Siegfried in Irek Mukhamedov's new production of the "Swan Lake" (by Peter Tschaikovsky, after Marius Petipa & Lev Ivanov);

2006 - by 40-years anniversary of the Moscow Classical Ballet, Prince Desire in Kasatkina's & Vasilyov's new production of "The Sleeping Beauty" (by Peter Tschaikovsky, after Marius Petipa).
